Note: When using the Autochlor System, there should be no presence of any stainless steel parts in the pool (only titanium), as starting up the system could cause immediate corrosion. Water treated in this way does not smell like chemicals as the system prevents the formation of chloramine, which is the cause of unpleasant odor. The pool water should be slightly salty - 3-4 grams per liter of water. The Autochlor system creates this salt by splitting salt molecules (NaCl), which are then divided into sodium (Na) and chlorine (Cl).
