Badu Prime 11, 400V

Badu Prime 11 pool pumps (originally Badu 90/11) are designed for sand filtration in pools with fresh and salt water up to a volume of 50m3. The maximum permissible amount of salt in the pool is 0.5% (5mg/litre). This is enough to use saltinators for pool water treatment.

Badu Prime 11 are self-priming pumps, thanks to which they can be installed even higher than the water level of the pool. The body and impeller of the pump are made of hard polypropylene resistant to the chemical effects of pool water. The mechanical seal of the pump is made of a combination of ceramic and carbon.

Structurally, Badu Prime is also suitable for public and hotel pools where permanent operation is required.

Until 2017, this pump was referred to as Badu 90/11. It is the same pump with the same dimensions, only the color has changed and there have been a few technical improvements.

  Pump connections and dimensions

  The Badu Prime pump is connected by internal 11/2" threads, which are tightened from the outside with a metal sleeve for higher strength.

    It can be useful for installing the pump

    Although the Badu Prime 11 pump is self-priming, we recommend using a 50 mm check valve when installing it above the water surface. This will ensure permanent watering of the supply pipe. Thanks to this, the pump will not run empty for some time each time the filtration is started. This will extend its lifespan. The flap needs to be glued to the suction pipe in the pump.

    Connect the pump to the pool circuit using 50 mm PVC pipes. You will need two pieces of 50 mm fittings with an external thread (not included) - one piece for suction and one piece for pump discharge.
