Can we get salt water treatment for our existing pool?

The NEOSAL device for salt water treatment can also be easily installed in existing pools. However, it's important to remember that all pool components (ladder, heat exchanger, electric heater) must always be made either of plastic or of titanium steel.

Technical specifications of the salt system

Under the influence of an electric current at a safe voltage, gaseous chlorine is produced in the electrolytic cell installed in the pool circuit. This chlorine is immediately dissolved in the water, forming hydrochloric acid, the primary disinfectant for pool water. During the electrolysis process, other effective sanitizing substances are also produced – ozone and oxygen.

To operate the system, it is necessary to dissolve pool salt in the pool water at a ratio of 3-5 kg of salt per 1000 l (1 m³) of water. This creates a salinity of the water in the range of 0.2-0.5%. (For comparison, the salinity of classic sea water is several times higher, about 3.5%).

The device is operated only at the time when the pool filtration is started.

Is the salt corrosive?

Water treated with salt water treatment is only mildly corrosive – the salinity is only around 0.3 – 0.5%. For use in your pool, make sure that you have all the elements made of titanium or plastic – with classic stainless steel (AISI 304), there is a risk of gradual corrosion.

Warranty

This product has 12 month warranty. In the event of a product breakdown within the warranty period, you should contact us as soon as possible.

The Buyer has the right to make his defective goods claim within 12 months of accepting the goods. If a defect manifests itself within six months of the Buyer accepting the goods, such goods are presumed to be defective at acceptance unless the Seller proves otherwise.

If you have specific delivery instructions, such as gifting or a required delivery date, please include them in your order.

If your billing address is different from the delivery address, you can provide the latter separately in the order form. We will accommodate the delivery address if possible under contractual conditions.

Please check your delivery

If you sign for a delivery as "OK" and later discover that it's damaged, our carriers will not accept liability, and you may be charged for the damaged items. In such cases, we will make a delivery charge for replacement items.

Please sign for your delivery as "UNCHECKED" if you're unable to thoroughly check it upon receipt. If there is any damage to the package, no matter how small, please sign for it as "DAMAGED". We cannot make claims for any damaged items that haven't been signed for as "UNCHECKED" or "DAMAGED".
