Pool sand filter system FSP-500 incl. sand

The FSP-500 complete pool sand filter system is equipped with a base plate on which the polypropylene filter vessel is located, which is equipped with a 6-way valve with pressure gauge and glued ø50 mm connection fitting. Also placed on the base plate is the circulation pump including additional hair filter with a capacity of 9 m³/h, which is connected to the filter boiler via a flexible hose. The filter uses filter sand (recommended grain size 0.6 - 1.2mm) to collect impurities from the pool water. The filter vessel is filled with filter sand and acts as a dirt trap. When the valve is in the "filtering" position, the contaminated pool water is sucked in via a hose system and automatically pressed into the control valve with patented filter, from where it is transported to the upper part of the filter container. The water is then forced through the sand, which cleans it of fine impurities, and drains it into the lower part of the tank. Through the control valve, the water is returned to the tank through hoses. The whole process is continuous, automatic and ensures complete filtration of the pool water. After a certain period of operation (4-8 weeks), impurities accumulate in the filter tank and cause a deterioration of the water flow through the sand and a reduction of the flow through the filter unit (noticeable by the increase of the pressure in the pressure gauge). This means that it is time to clean the filter. To do this, simply move the control lever of the 6-way valve to the "Flush" position. This automatically reverses the water flow, so that the water flows up from the bottom through the filter sand and flushes the settled impurities into the drain line. When the filter is flushed, move the valve lever to the "pre-filter" position and turn on the pump for one-half to one minute; then return the valve lever to the "filter" position to resume normal filter operation.
