Electric flow-through heaters are designed for heating water in pools and hot tubs, and their operation consists of heating the flowing water with a heating element. The temperature of the heated water is regulated by a thermostat. The heating element is controlled by a relay, which is controlled by the aforementioned thermostat and a safety flow indicator. For this reason, a so-called large automation system is required - a 24-hour filtration programmer, a current protector (protection against dangerous touch voltage), thermal protection of the motor, relay, and heating switch.

EOV pool electric flow-through water heaters, types EOV, EOVp, EOVk, EOVTi, EOVnTi, and EOVn, are specifically designed for heating pool water or water in other water circuits with a flow and temperature of up to 40°C. Each heater must be installed in an electrical system behind a current protector. Therefore, we recommend supplementing the device with a suitable type of automatic control from VÁGNER, which reliably ensures not only the desired comfort but also operator safety. The difference between EOV and EOVp lies in the use of plastic for the cover and the use of a flow valve instead of a pressure switch as a protective element for water flow.


Each EOV electric heater:

  • utilizes the conversion of electrical energy into thermal energy
  • is made of high-quality stainless steel with a layer of AISI 316 TITANIUM (EOV type)
  • is made of high-quality PVC (EOVp type)
  • has a heating cartridge made of INCOLOY 800 stainless steel material with a layer of titanium, which ensures the highest quality
  • is 100% leak tested
  • can be connected to the water circuit via a 1.5" thread, a 50 mm hose, or 50 mm glue connection
  • is equipped with a thermostat up to 40°C and a thermal fuse
  • is equipped with a pressure switch that controls water flow (EOV type)
  • is equipped with 2 brackets for easy mounting
  • higher output up to 36 kW available upon agreement

Operating conditions:

  • Minimum water flow rate: 4 m3/h (with the pressure switch pre-set to 1,000 l/h)
  • Operating pressure: 0-3 bar
  • Connection: to the water circuit with a pipe diameter of 50 mm
  • Water quality: chloride content max. 150 mg/l
  • chlorine content max. 1 mg/l
  • pH range: 7.0-7.8
