How much water do I need to drain before placing the pool cushion?
Before placing the pool cushion on the pool, it is necessary to drain 35 - 40 cm of water below the upper edge of the pool.
Is the cushion suitable for an inflatable pool?
No, the cushion is not suitable for inflatable pools.
Can I use the cushion in the summer?
Yes, the cushion can be used in the summer. Just do not inflate it with air. It can be used as a regular cover against dirt, even with a pool roller.
Why is it not recommended to inflate the cushion in the summer?
High temperatures warm up the air inside the cushion, causing uncontrolled expansion. The cushion may burst.
How much does the pool cushion weigh?
1 square meter of the cushion weighs 1.2 kg. For example, a cushion for a 6 x 3 m pool weighs 21.6 kg.
How many eyelets are there for fastening around the perimeter of the cushion?
It depends on the size of the cushion. There are eyelets every 50 cm around the entire perimeter.
I have an inground pool. What if it snows heavily? Do I have to shovel the snow off the cushion like with a traditional cover?
For an inground pool, it is not necessary to shovel the snow. The cushion's load capacity is such that it can handle up to a meter of snow. For above-ground pools, it's more a question of the load capacity of the pool structure, not the cushion.
What is the lifespan of the pool cushion?
Pool cushions are made from durable material with a lifespan of up to 20 years. It all depends on how they are used, stored, and, last but not least, on the correct use of pool chemicals.

How much chlorine should I have in the pool where the cushion is installed?
The cushions are chemically resistant. Maintain the chlorine level as usual, typically at 0.5 mg/l.
Is the cushion suitable for pools with saltwater?
Yes, thanks to the material's durability, the cushions are suitable for pools with saltwater.
What is the load capacity of the pool cushion?
It depends on the size of the cushion, but even for smaller cushions, it's in the hundreds of kilograms.
Can the pool cushion get punctured?
Aside from overpressurization, the surface of the cushion can be damaged by a sharp object.
Can a hole in the cushion be repaired?
Yes, the cushions are made of PVC, just like pool liners. So, you can use a pool liner repair kit.
What if the hole in the cushion is really large?
Even a large hole can be repaired, but it would require special equipment in production.
How long does it take to manufacture a custom pool cushion?
The production of a custom pool cushion typically takes 10 to 14 days.
Can a collar wider than 7 cm be made to cover the surrounding pavement around the pool?
The collar width is standard at 7 cm. If you want to cover the surrounding pavement, choose a cushion with an overhang. You can find the measurement description for all custom cushions.
What should I use to inflate the cushion?
The cushion can be inflated using a manual compressor, or you can even use a household vacuum cleaner. The inflation hole has a diameter of about 35 mm.
